We are embarking on a five-year plan to completely revitalize and transform a blighted neighborhood in New Port Richey. Behind the Southgate shopping plaza off US 19 sits Town and Country Villas a troubled neighborhood with a bad reputation.
A casual conversation turned into a movement to revitalize the two crime ridden streets that make up this neighborhood. With support of the Pasco County officials, commissioners and the City of New Port Richey Habitat has acquired 43 of 120 properties in the neighborhood. Most of the acquired properties had previously been condemned and had no one living inside.
At the end of this five-year project, West Pasco Habitat along with community partners will make the dream of homeownership a reality for 40+ low-income families.
People Places, LLC and other local business are on board and Habitat is actively seeking partnerships and a developer to join our vision for this community. Habitat cannot make this happen without YOU. To get involved please visit www.wphabitat.com.

"We are happy, excited; this is going to change our lives. It will make a big difference on our bills. We will also have money for other things and we’ll be able to save more. Most importantly we'll own our own home"
